EPC for Letting

Who needs an EPC?

All Properties require an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) when being sold or let. An EPC is a report that provides home owners (aswell as landlords), tenants and prospective buyers with an assessment of how energy efficient a property is. Furthermore, the report details the rating for the property and provides an indication of it's environmental impact, to help reduce CO2 output.

Rating

An EPC assesses a building by giving it a standard energy and carbon emission efficiency grade from 'A' to 'G', where 'A' is the best and with the average to date being D/E.

Our Assessors

All EPC Local Energy Assessors are fully accredited with a range of experience in carrying out EPC assessments for all types of properties, from one bed flats to country mansions.

Order process

Ordering your Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) couldn't be easier. Simply click here and enter your postcode where prompted. We will provide you with a list of fully accredited assessors in your area. You can then select an energy assessor based on proximity and price. Please remember that you don't pay anything upfront for our service.

Alternatively, you can call customer services on 0845 130 8016 and we will be happy to take your order over the phone.

What happens next?

As soon as you have completed your order, we will email you with your order reference number as confirmation that you have instructed us to complete your EPC. You can forward this email to your estate agent as proof of purchase which will be required to satisfy current legislation. The Energy Assessor you have chosen will contact you soon after placing the order in order to discuss a convenient appointment date / time.

Your Energy Assessor will carry out your residential EPC and you will be notified and sent your EPC by email within 48 hours following the assessment.

You will be given access to your own customer control panel so that you can access your EPC online at any time in the future.

If you have any further questions, please email the Low Cost EPC team at [email protected].
